DATED : 24-10-2016 The applicant/appellant seeks permission to deposit the balance amount as per the impugned award. The prayer is opposed by the respondent No.4 on the ground that the applicant/appellant now cannot be permitted to deposit the amount in view of the third proviso below Section 30 of the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923.

Keeping the objection raised on behalf of the respondent No.4 open for consideration, the applicant/ appellant is permitted to deposit the balance amount, within four weeks. If the amount is not deposited within four weeks, the appeal shall stand dismissed without reference to the Court.
