IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

NAGPUR BENCH : NAGPUR WRIT PETITION NO. 718 OF 2023 Manisha Ramchandra Bhadang and another ..VS..

The State of Maharashtra through its Commissioner of Education, Pune and another ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Office Notes, Office Memoranda of Coram, Court's or Judge's orders appearances, Court's orders of directions and Registrar's orders ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. A.A. Dhawas, Advocate for petitioners.

Mr. A.M. Deshpande, In-charge Government Pleader for respondents. CORAM : A. S. CHANDURKAR AND MRS. VRUSHALI V. JOSHI, JJ DATED : JANUARY 31, 2023 P.C.

Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith.

2.

Learned In-charge Government Pleader Mr. A.M. Deshpande waives service of notice for respondents.

3.

At the outset the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the only relief sought by the petitioners is for a decision on the representation dated 08.10.2022 that has been made by them before the respondents. 4.

According to the petitioners, the Government Resolution dated 28.09.2022 deciding the seniority of Senior Lecturers in Group-B of the Maharashtra Education Services is erroneous. In that regard representation dated 08.10.2022 has been made by them. 0 One of the statements made in the said representation is that, the seniority has been determined without granting any opportunity to the petitioners.

2 920-W.P.No.718.2023 5.

Considering the only relief sought by the petitioners, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1 to consider the petitioners representation dated 08.10.2022 raising objection to the Government Resolution dated 28.09.2022. The decision in that regard be taken within a period of four weeks on receiving copy of the present order. 6.

Needless to state that after adjudication of that representation, if the grievance of the petitioners still survives they are free to take legal recourse in accordance with law.

7.

With these directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. (MRS. VRUSHALI V. JOSHI, J.) (A. S. CHANDURKAR, J.) Kirtak BHIMRAO JANARDHAN 17:55
