The order granting interim maintenance in favour of the wife by the learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Yavatmal, vide order dated 19.01.2023 is under challenge in the present writ petition on the ground that the amount is exorbitant. However, at the same time, the petitioner admits that, he is paying Rs.30,000/- to his mother towards maintenance.

After going through the order granting maintenance to the mother, it is evident that, the petitioner himself agreed to pay Rs.30,000/- per month to his mother. If the petitioner is of the opinion that Rs.30,000/- is needed to his mother for maintenance, I am of the opinion that, by granting same amount to the wife as maintenance, the learned trial Court has not committed any error. 3.

Accordingly, I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned order. Hence, writ petition is dismissed.
