Heard.

The learned counsel for the petitioner Shri R.R. Vyas seeks leave to withdraw the criminal writ petition and to approach this Court under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure or to institute any other proceedings before the appropriate forum challenging the order impugned. The submission is that the interim order dated 12.10.2017 be continued for two weeks to enable the petitioner to take necessary steps. The request is reasonable and in all fairness is not seriously opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent.

Criminal Writ Petition 948 of 2017 is permitted to be withdrawn with liberty as prayed.
