DATE : April 25, 2016 Prayer is to permit the claimant to withdraw the amount of compensation that is lying in deposit in this Court. It is stated that F.A.No.662 of 2010 was decided on 27/10/2010 and the amount of compensation as awarded by the Land Acquisition Officer was reduced to Rs.1 lakh per hectare. However, the Honourable Supreme Court has subsequently set aside the order passed in the first appeal and has restored the amount granted by the Land Acquisition Officer. These orders are placed on record. In view of aforesaid, the amount of Rs.52,435/- which has been deposited in this Court shall be transferred to the Reference Court along with accrued interest. The Reference Court shall thereafter permit the claimant to withdraw the said amount. Civil application is disposed of.
