Criminal Application (APPR) No. 340 of 2023 The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced to undergo punishment till rising of the Court and to pay amount of compensation of Rs. 3,50,000/- to the non-applicant/ complainant within one month from the date of the order i.e. from 17-3-2010.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is reputed lady doctor [M.D.(Medicine)]. He further submits that she has a good case. According to him, entire evidence will have to be revisited. This aspect will be considered once the other side is heard.

2 revn 228.2023.odt In the meantime, the sentence is suspended subject to condition that the applicant shall deposit with the Registry an amount of 75% of Rs. 3,50,000/-. Once the amount is so deposited, the applicant - Mrs. Rajeshree Rambahadur Yadav shall be released on bail on her furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with solvent surety of like amount before the trial Court.
