By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the respondent for wilful disobedience of the directions in the judgment dated 8.4.2014 in Writ Petition No.1579/2014.

It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that though by the order dated 8.4.2014, the respondent was directed to recognize the senior most lecturer as an officiating Principal and accept the pay bills sent by him till regular arrangement is made, the respondent had not accepted the request made by the petitioner to the concerned authority to grant permission to the senior most lecturer Shri Kartik Patil. It is, however, fairly stated that though this was the position in January, 2014, the petitioner is not aware as to what happened thereafter during the past two years.

If that be the statement made on behalf of the petitioner, it would not be proper to proceed with the contempt

2 cp268.14.odt petition any longer. If the petitioner is not aware as to what is the position, as on today, it would be necessary to dispose of the contempt petition.

The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of with no order as to costs.
