The only relief sought by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of her tribe claim which is pending with the Scrutiny Committee. It is submitted that the vigilance enquiry is pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was admitted on a seat that was reserved for a Scheduled Tribe candidate and as per the State Common Entrance Test Cell if the validity certificate is not submitted by 28.11.2022, the admission would get cancelled and the petitioner would be treated as an open category candidate.

In view of the aforesaid facts and as the vigilance enquiry is pending, the Respondent No.2-Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the petitioner's tribe claim within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.

Needless to state that if the petitioner is granted validity certificate she is free to take all permissible steps to secure the benefits that are admissible on account of grant of such validity.
