The applicant is seeking regular bail in connection with Crime No.450 of 2022 registered with Police Station: Karanja, District: Washim for the offences punishable under Sections 188, 269, 272, 273 and 328 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 59 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

In this case, the contraband has already been seized by the Police Authorities. Furthermore, there are no criminal antecedents to the discredit of the applicant. In the circumstances, as there is no possibility of being absconded and not available for trial, I am of the opinion that the applicant is entitled for grant of regular bail. Accordingly, I pass the following order:

a) The criminal application is allowed.

15.aba.834.22.odt b) Order passed by this Court on 29.11.2022, granting ad-interim anticipatory bail, is confirmed with modification that the applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when his presence is required.

The criminal application is disposed of accordingly.
