Following are the prayers in the present Application:- "[i] quash and set aside the first information report no. 2/2011 registered by Kalamna P.S. (nonapplicant no.1) on 4.1.2011 for offence punishable u/sec. 452, 302, 120-b, 34 of I.P.C. (Annexure-A to the petition), which is presently being investigated by the CID, Nagpur;

[ii] direct the non-applicant No.1 to file charge-sheet in the first information report No. 2/2011 registered by Kalamna P.S. (non-applicant no.1) on 4.2.2011 for offence punishable u/sec. 452, 302, 34 of I.P.C.;"

Heard learned counsel for rival parties.

Learned APP Mr. Mirza, upon taking instructions from the Additional Superintendent of Police [CID], Nagpur, Mr. Ratansingh Yadav, who is present in the Court, submits that the investigations into the said offence would be completed within a period of four weeks and the final report would be placed before the appropriate court accordingly within two weeks thereafter.

We are satisfied with the response furnished by the respondents in the matter and, therefore, we think it would be appropriate to make the following order:-

O R D E R

[a] The prayer for quashing the FIR is not entertained at present.

[b] Criminal Application (APL) No. 731 of 2014 is disposed of on the statement made by learned APP.
