In view of the proposed order, requirement of issuing notice to the respondent no.2 is hereby dispensed with. 3.
This petition has been filed with the prayer to issue direction to the State Government to decide the representation dated 05.09.2022 which has been made seeking permission to start new courses in the Institution as per the requirement of Section 109 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. The representation which has been sought to be decided by the State Government is dated 05.09.2022 and has been annexed as Annexure-7 to the writ petition.

Thus, having regard to the innocuous nature of the prayer made, we dispose of the writ petition with the direction to the Higher and Technical Education Department of the State Government to decide the representation dated 05.09.2022 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law with expedition and positively within a period of two months from the date the certified copy of this order is produced before the Department. 5.
