Learned Additional Government Pleader Shri S.M. Ukey puts in appearance on behalf of the respondent no.1. He places before us an order dated 26.08.2016 passed by the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Amravati Division, Amravati whereby the tribe claim of the petitioner has been found to be not tenable. He has also produced before us an affidavit dated 23.08.2016 that is said to have been filed by the petitioner before the Scrutiny Committee whereby he had withdrawn his claim.

The order dated 26.08.2016 and the affidavit dated 23.08.2016 produced by the learned Additional Government Pleader is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition.
