CRIMINAL APPLICATION (APPA) NO. 726 OF 2016 Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties.

Appellant No. 2 - mother (accused No. 2) seeks suspension of sentence.

The learned APP is seeking time to file reply. The facts show that she is convicted by the Sessions Judge, Gadchiroli, on 21.09.2016 under Section 498-A of the IPC with imprisonment of two years. The trial Court has suspended that punishment and the order of suspension is in force even today.

2710apeal408.16 In this situation, the said order shall continue for a period of six weeks more. In the meanwhile, she shall furnish fresh bail bonds on same terms and conditions, inter alia undertaking to remain present before this Court on the date of final hearing along with her counsel. Criminal Application No. 726 of 2016 is accordingly disposed of.
