Date : 6 th February, 2018 The petitioner is imposed the punishment of reduction in remission period in the ratio of 1:5 on the ground that he reported to prison late on three occasions, out of which on two occasions he was arrested.

In view of this, no fault can be found with the ratio adopted for imposing the punishment.

The petition is dismissed.

The fees payable to the counsel for the petitioner are quantified at Rs.1,500/-.
