The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No.1012/2025 registered with Police Station Hinganghat, District Wardha for the offences punishable under Sections 65(e), 77(a) and 83 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949.

The raid was conducted on the betal kiosk which was run by accused No.1. He was taken in custody and during his interrogation, he has disclosed the name of the applicant and stated that the applicant has provided said liquor to him, therefore, the offence came to be registered against this applicant.

The learned Advocate for the applicant has stated that on the statement of co-accused crime is registered. The applicant has relied on the order passed by this Court in Criminal Application (A.B.A.) No.626/2025 (Shankar s/o Sukhdev Roy and ors. vs. State of Maharashtra) dated 15.09.2025, wherein the Court has granted ad interim anticipatory bail on the ground that crime was registered on the statement made by co-accused. 4.
Counsel for the applicant has stated that initially the applicant has not attended the police station as
2 13 aba 722.25.odt. the another crime was pending against him. Now, he is protected in said crime and has attended the police station. 5.
Heard both sides and perused the record.

Accused No.1 has disclosed the name of this applicant and on the statement of said accused, the crime is registered against this applicant. Accused No.1 is arrested and is released on bail. The liquor is already seized.

Learned APP opposed the said application stating that similar 37 offences are registered against him. 8.
As the applicant is attending the police station and his further custody is not required, the interim protection granted on 23.09.2025 is confirmed on same terms and conditions.
