Offences punishable under Sections 294, 354, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code were registered against some persons vide Crime No.478 of 2017. Though in the First Information Report the name of the petitioner does not figure, the stand of the respondents is that in the statement of the complainant recorded, the petitioner is named as involved in the commission of Crime. The petitioner was arrested on 1st August, 2017 at 2.16 p.m. and was produced before the Magistrate at 3.00 p.m. and was released on bail. The other accused persons were arrested at 6.32 p.m. on 1st August, 2017. In this factual background, we do not find that any case is made out for interference. Writ petition is dismissed.
