DATE : May 06, 2016 After the appeal was admitted, the proceedings were referred for mediation. The Mediator has submitted his report dated 26/04/2016 in which it is stated that the respondent Nos.1 to 4 who are the claimants have agreed to receive compensation of Rs.3,25,000/- in full settlement of their claim. An amount of Rs.2,00,000/- was paid to the respondent Nos.1 to 4 on 21/04/2016 by cheque. Rs.25,000/- have also been permitted to be withdrawn. The balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- is to be paid in two equal instalments. This amount is to be paid within period of eight months from said date. Agreement is signed by the respective parties as well as their counsel. Hence the First Appeal No.134 of 2015 stands disposed of in terms of agreement dated 21/04/2016. The terms thereof would bind the parties. There shall be no order as to costs. JUDGE Asmita
