DATE : 29.11.2016 By this petition, the petitioner has challenged the order of the Tahsildar, Amravati, dated 23.6.2016 under Section 48 (7) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. Mrs. Tiwari, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner has preferred an appeal against the said order before the Sub Divisional Officer and during the pendency of the said appeal, the petitioner has approached this Court. In the circumstances of the case, since a statutory appeal is filed by the petitioner before the Sub Divisional Officer, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Sub Divisional Officer to finally decide the appeal of the petitioner on merits, within four weeks.
Order accordingly. No costs.
