The application is for quashing of the First Information Report.

Learned counsel for the applicants and the non-applicant No.2 has come with a case that the parties have settled the dispute amicably. However, during verification regarding the settlement, the complainant specifically stated that he was not informed by his counsel as to the contents of the settlement or the nature of the settlement. We have also verified from the complainant whether he is aware about the contents of the settlement and in the nature of the settlement, he is unable to state so.

In view of that, the contention of the learned counsel for the applicants and the non-applicant No.2 regarding the settlement deserves to be rejected. 4.
Learned counsel for the applicants makes a statement that in the above facts and circumstances, he be permitted to withdraw the application.
