By this petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondent nos. 1 to 3 to give a separate water supply connection to the petitioners. The petitioners seek a direction to the University not to pay the electricity consumption charges of the electric meter mentioned in the prayer clause. A direction is also sought against the respondents, restraining them from disconnecting the electric supply to the petitioners.

The dispute is purely of civil nature. The factual dispute involved in this case cannot be decided in exercise of the writ jurisdiction. The petitioners are free to avail the appropriate remedy. The writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
