Rule. Considering the limited relief sought, Rule is made returnable forthwith.

Shri N.S. Deshpande, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, waives notice of hearing for the respondent No.1, and Shri N.R. Rode, learned Assistant Government Pleader, waives notice of hearing for the respondent Nos.2, 3 and 5. Service on respondent No.4 is dispensed with considering the direction proposed to be issued.

The petitioner, who is a Sarpanch of Gram Pachayat Malkapur (Rural), seeks consideration of the proposal dated 2-6-2023 that has been forwarded by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Buldhana to the respondent No.3-Commissioner, Integrated Child Development Scheme. By the said proposal, a request has been made to establish a new Anganwadi Centre under the Malkapur Project within the jurisdiction of the Zilla Parishad, Buldhana.

In the light of the fact that the proposal dated 2-6-2023 is required to be considered by the respondent Nos.3, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to consider the said proposal within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving the copy of this order and take necessary steps thereafter in accordance with law.

Rule accordingly. No costs.
