On 3rd January, 2019, this Court had passed a speaking order directing respondent No.1 - State Government to reconsider the aspect of unhealthy competition and pass an appropriate order.

Respondent No.1 has filed an afÏdavit stating that upon reconsideration of the matter, it is decided to withdraw the permission granted to respondent No.5 with effect from academic session 2019-2020. Hence, the grievance in the petition does not survive.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Needless to say, the challenge to the decision of the Government is kept open to adjudicate upon by respondent No.5.
