During the pendency of this petition, another OfÏce Order has been issued by Respondent No.2. It is produced before the Court by the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, which is taken on record and marked "A" for identification.

This OfÏce Order issues new guidelines for re-registration of the Home Guards, whose services have been terminated between 17.07.2015 till 31.03.2022. The case of the Petitioners is covered by the guidelines stated in the OfÏce Order dated 31.03.2022. We, are therefore, of the view that the purpose of this petition shall stand served by issuing necessary direction to the Respondents. Accordingly, we direct the Respondents to consider the case of each of the Petitioners in accordance with the guidelines contained in the OfÏce Order dated 31.03.2022, document "A", at the earliest. The Petitioners are at
