Prayer in the criminal writ petition is to quash and set aside the order dated 16/9/2016 passed by 24th Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Nagpur whereby application of respondent for transfer of complaint case from Court at Nagpur to Court at Hyderbad came to be allowed.

The petitioners are original accused while respondent being original complainant had filed proceedings under Negotiable Instruments Act. By the impugned order dated 16/9/2016, complaint filed by respondent/complainant was returned along with documents on the point of jurisdiction for presenting the same before appropriate Court at Hyderabad within one month.

In view of amended provisions of Section 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, there appears no merit in the present criminal writ petition
