Criminal Application (ABA) No.733/2017 Heard.

The applicants apprehend their arrest in connection with Crime No.408/2017 registered at Police Station Washim (City), Dist. Washim for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 306 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted on behalf of the applicants that the daughter of the informant was married with the son of applicant Nos.1 and 2 on 19/06/2017. According to the

2/3 informant said daughter was being ill-treated and hence on 05/09/2017 she committed suicide. A report was lodged on the next day. It is submitted that the applicant Nos.1 and 2 are the in-laws of the deceased while applicant No.3 is her brother-in-law residing at Pune. The applicants have been unnecessarily implicated in the crime. The marriage between their son and the deceased was a love marriage and the same was opposed by the informant. It is submitted that the applicants have co-operated by attending the police station. The application is opposed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor by relying upon the reply.

Perused the First Information Report as well as the reply. Considering the general nature of allegations made against the present applicants coupled with the fact that applicant No.3 was residing at Pune at the relevant time while applicant Nos.1 and 2 were also residing elsewhere from their son, the interim protection granted earlier deserves to be confirmed. Hence in the event of arrest of any of the applicants in connection with Crime No.408/2017 registered at Police Station Washim (City), Dist. Washim for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 306 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, they shall be released on bail on furnishing PR Bond of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) each with one surety each in the like amount.

The applicants shall attend the concerned police station as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. They shall
