DATED : JANUARY 27, 2023 The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 299 of 2022 which invoke offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Considering the nature of offences and the punishment prescribed for the aforesaid offences, being less than seven year, let the Investigating Officer issue a notice under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure to the applicant within a period of 3 days and upon receipt of notice, it would be imperative for the applicant to report to the Investigating Officer within a period of 3 days. Upon applicant's reporting to the Investigating Officer, he would be investigated and if at all the Investigating Officer is desirous of having custody of the applicant for the purpose of interrogation, he shall record his reasons in writing.

Upon failure to abide by the notice at the end of the applicant, the Investigating Officer is at liberty to arrest the applicant.

With the above directions the application is disposed of.
