The petition seeks compassionate appointment of the petitioner in place of his adopted father who was an employee with respondent Nos 2 and 3. The matter is covered by the Government Resolution dated 21/09/2017, which permits consideration of an adopted son for the purpose of compassionate appointment. The adoption deed indicating adoption of the petitioner is dated 24/03/2008 (page 17), and as of date there is no dispute about the same, considering which, the petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment in terms of the policy indicated in the Government Resolution dated 21/09/2017.
