ATE : JANUARY 29, 2025 1) Heard learned Counsel for the parties.

2) Learned Assistant Government Pleader has tendered across-the-bar affidavit-in-reply on behalf of respondent No.4 along with annexures. The same is taken on record. 3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the statement made by respondent No.4 in para 6 of the affidavit, the petitioner's grievance has been redressed. Therefore, he submitted that in terms of the said statement, the petition may kindly be disposed of.

4) We have perused para 6 of the affidavit in reply filed by respondent No.4, which reads thus as under:- "6. It is, therefore, most humbly and respectfully submitted before this Hon'ble Court that if the management submits the salary arrears bills of the petitioner in respect of senior grade pay scale for the period of 16.08.2008 to 12.12.2016 with the office of the answering respondent no.4, then the office of the

2 32-wp 6477.2018.doc answering respondent no.4, would take immediate action on the said bills of the petitioner, as per law and in accordance with the prevailing policy of the State Government. Hence, in view of the submission above, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass appropriate orders in the interest of justice." 5) In view of the statement made by respondent No.4 in para 6 of the affidavit and the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition in terms of the said statement. Accordingly, we accept the statement and dispose of the petition. No costs. 6) A prayer for a grant of interest is turned down on account of the unexplained delay in filing the present petition.
