Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. The petition is heard finally by consent of the learned counsel for the parties. We are inclined to dispose of present writ petition as main prayer is to seek direction against the scrutiny committee to decide the caste claim, which is pending since long, in spite of the order passed by this court to decide within nine months. However, in the interest of justice, we grant three months further time to decide the caste claim of the petitioner. Hence, the petition is allowed. The petitioner shall remain present before respondent no.2 on 19.1.2015, so that further steps can be taken in the matter.
