CORAM : A.S. CHANDURKAR & PUSHPA V. GANEDIWALA, JJ.

JUNE 14, 2021.

Shri Kulkarni, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Kasat, learned counsel for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner in this Contempt Petition is to the non-compliance of the order dated 17.06.2015 passed in Writ Petition No. 6602 of 2014 whereby the respondent No. 2 - Management Council has been directed to reconsider the proposal of the petitioner as early as possible, positively within a period of three months.

The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions states that the proposal of the petitioner has been decided by the respondents on 28.02.2020 i.e. after about four and half years.

1406cp287.18 Shri Kasat, learned counsel for the respondents states that the delay was due to nonconstitution of the Management Council and the delay is not deliberate.

We are satisfied that now the grievance of the petitioner has been duly satisfied. Hence, nothing survives in this Contempt Petition. Contempt Petition is disposed of accordingly.
