In spite of service of notice, there is no appearance on behalf of respondent No.1.

The complaint in the petition is that though the petitioner is granted promotion as Headmaster from 01/07/2018, the proposal for fixation of pay scale has not been forwarded to respondent No.2-Education OfÏcer.

We, therefore, direct respondent No.1 to immediately forward the proposal of the petitioner to the Education OfÏcer for consideration along with all relevant documents. It is not believable that the petitioner, who is interested for getting the pay fixation from 01/07/2018, shall not furnish any

wp.7191.17 2/2 information or document required by respondent No.1 for preparing the proposal and forwarding it to respondent No.2.

In view of this position, respondent No.1 is directed to immediately forward the proposal of the petitioner for pay fixation to respondent No.2 and to pay costs of Rs.500/- per month to the petitioner from 01/07/2018 till the petitioner's grievance regarding fixation of pay scale in the post of Headmaster is redressed.

The civil application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
