DATE : 01.12.2016 The learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would ventilate the grievance in regard to the first prayer made in the writ petition before the appropriate Court/Authority. It is stated that the grievance of the petitioner in the instant petition would stand redressed, if a direction is issued against the respondent to decide the application made by the petitioner for renewal of the lease, within a time frame. It is stated that though the petitioner had made an application on 1.9.2014, the same is not decided till date.

Since the only prayer pressed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner in the instant petition is innocuous, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction against the respondent - Collector, Amravati to decide the application of the petitioner, if not decided, within four months.

Order accordingly. No costs.
