Mr. K. P. Mahalle, Advocate for applicant.

Mr. V. A. Thakare, A.P.P. for non applicant-State. CORAM : V.M. DESHPANDE, J.

DATED : DECEMBER 11, 2017 Heard Mr. K. P. Mahalle, Advocate for applicant. This Court has directed applicant to deposit Rs.5,00,000/- vide order dated 17.11.2017.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that since the investigating officer was on leave, this Court asked the applicant to deposit the amount with the Court. The order dated 30.11.2017 shows that a statement was made on behalf of the present applicant before this Court that an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- is ready. However, the said amount is not deposited.

Today, when the matter is called out, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that he is having demand draft of only Rs.1,50,000/-. Thus, the statement made on behalf of the applicant before this Court on 30.11.2017 was a misleading statement. Such an attitude of the litigants must be dealt with iron hands.

aba746.17.odt Hence, this application is rejected for non compliance of order dated 17.11.2017. Interim order stands vacated.
