By this Petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to absorb the petitioner in some other school, either as a Laboratory Attendant or on any other equivalent post.

It is the case of the petitioner that since the closure of the school in which the petitioner was working, all the other teaching and non-teaching staff have been absorbed, whereas the petitioner is not absorbed, till date. It is stated that the petitioner is ready to be absorbed on any other equivalent post, if the post of Laboratory Attendant is not vacant in the other schools.

28.10.wp.272.15 Shri Nitin Rode, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent states on instructions, that the petitioner may make an application that he is ready to work on any other equivalent post and the same would be considered by the respondents. It is stated that within a period of seven days a decision on the application of the petitioner would be taken.

Shri Khamborkar, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed at the stage. It is stated that the petitioner would submit an appropriate application to the respondent within a period of seven days. In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the Writ Petition, with liberty to the petitioner to apply to the respondent within a period of seven days and with a direction to the respondent, to decide the application within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of the same.

Order accordingly. No costs.
