The applicant has apprehension of arrest in Crime No.567/2025 registered at Police Station Rana Pratap Nagar, District Nagpur for the offences punishable under Sections 191(1), 191(2), 191(3), 192, 296, 351(2), 74 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Sections 4 and 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 and Sections 37(1), 37(3) and 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951.

It is the case of the prosecution that the applicant along with other co-accused asked the complainant and their group to stop playing their DJ during Ganesh Visarjan, due to which there was a scuffle between the two groups, after which the police officials intervened and controlled the situation. It is further alleged that on the same night around 10.30 p.m. on 07.09.2025, the applicant and their associates came near Vijay Super Bazar in a black car, got down from the said car and started showing swords in their hands. It is further the case of the prosecution that the applicant held the hands of the complainant and two other ladies and tried to hug them, abused them and threatened them. On the complaint lodged by the first informant, the crime is registered

2 13.aba.729.25 against the applicant.

The counter First Information Reports are there. The offence under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 is registered against the complainant. While granting interim protection, the reasons are considered by this Court. As the applicant is attending the concerned Police Station and it is conceded by the learned A.P.P., the interim protection granted on 26.09.2025 is confirmed except a modification in the condition No.[iv] that he shall attend the Police Station as and when required by the Investigating Officer. Rest of the conditions are kept as it is.
