The Present Petition is filed with limited prayer that the proposal for caste validity is pending before the Respondent No.1 Scrutiny Committee for verification and it be directed to decide the same expeditiously. Therefore, there is no necessity to issue the separate notices to the Respondents. The learned Assistant Government Pleader Mr. A. V. Palshikar waives service of notice for Respondents. Accordingly we pass the following order :

(i) The Writ Petition is allowed.

2 2-WP No.5657.2025 (ii) The Respondent No.1 - the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nagpur is hereby directed to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within a period of two months.

(iii) The Respondent No.2- Tahsildar, Bhiwapur, District Nagpur is directed not to take any coercive action against the Petitioner for want of certificate of validity during the pendency of tribe claim before the Scrutiny Committee. (iv) This order be communicated to the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 by the Assistant Government Pleader.

(v) The Petitioner to appear before the Respondent No.1 Scrutiny Committee on 30/09/2025.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
