The case of the petitioners, who are the Medical OfÏcers, is that they were appointed in Washim district under the National Health Mission Scheme.

Since their services were rendered surplus, they were given posting in Akola District.

It is the claim of the petitioners that in the Washim district there exist 40 vacancies, which are already advertised. Hence, it is claimed that the petitioner can be accommodated against above vacancies. Representation preferred in that regard needs to be considered. The petitioners have already approached the Commissioner, National Health Mission Maharashtra with aforesaid prayer through a through a representation which is informed to be pending from last one year.

In view of above, we deem it appropriate to direct the Commissioner, National Health Mission, Maharashtra, to decide the representation of the petitioners expeditiously. 6.
