The challenge in this writ petition is to the advertisement issued in the year 2019 for various post, including the post of Deputy Engineer and Assistant Engineer, on the ground that 30% women reservation was not extended to those posts. We have perused the advertisement published in the year 2019. Even according to the learned counsel for petitioner, the select list was published in the year 2014, whereas the present petition is filed on 24/09/2025. By this time, the rights of the selected candidates had already crystallized. There is absolutely no explanation offered for the delay and latches in approaching this Court. Further, the advertisement itself shows that reservation was duly granted.
