In this petition, prima facie lethargic attitude of the petitioner would have resulted into causing loss of academic year to the students. The petitioner is the Institution which runs the college where the Nursing and Paramedical Education is imparted. According to petitioner, for the academic year 2024-2025, examination forms were submitted by 33 students, but it could not deposit the examination fees so also late fee. The reason advanced by the college was technical glitch on payment portal.

We have heard Mr. Choube, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Neeraj Karade, learned counsel for respondent no. 2.

The learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 has vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner since according to him, at 11th hour, it would be difficult for

2 1) WP WP 5704-2025.odt respondent no. 2 to accept the examination forms with late fees and arrange the centers for examination. We could have rejected the petition outrightly but considering the future of the students, we are inclined to interfere in the matter.

Accordingly, we direct that the payment link be opened for 24 hours from today or inform the petitioner other mode for payment. The petitioner Management assures that it would deposit the entire amount along with late fees and other charges on the link provided by the respondent no. 2 or by other mode as may be permitted by respondent no. 2.

The petitioner is further directed to deposit costs of Rs. 1,50,000/- with respondent no. 2 within 24 hours from today.

On deposit of late fees, students concern be permitted to appear in examination.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.

An authenticated copy of this order be furnished to the parties to act upon.
