The cause for filing this writ petition is rendered infructuous as by this writ petition, the petitioner had sought a direction against the respondents to permit the president of the petitioner-Samiti to contest the elections and the elections are already concluded on 27.11.2016.

Hence, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
