DATE : 07.03.2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents - authorities to record the name of the petitioner in the revenue record, in respect of Survey No.17/3 of Mouza Jogan, as the Government has granted licence in respect of the said land in favour of the petitioner.
According to the petitioner, though the petitioner has applied for mutation of his name in the revenue record in respect of grant of licence in favour of the petitioner on 22.8.2014, the Tahsildar has not decided the said application till date. Shri Rode, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents states that if the application is not decided as yet, the respondent no.3 would decide the same expeditiously.
0703wp569.16.odt In view of the statements recorded herein above, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.3 to decide the application filed by the petitioner for mutation of his name in the revenue record, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.
Order accordingly. No costs.
