The petitioner seeks a direction to respondents to pay family pension to the petitioner from the date of death of his wife who was employed with the respondent no.3-College On 22.1.2019, this Court had passed an order after hearing the parties concerned, as under :

Shri Fulzele, the learned Additional Government Pleader Appearing for the respondent nos. 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner and the respondent No.3college have submitted the papers for verification by the Pay Verification Unit for release of the pension. Upon the report of the Pay Verification Unit, the pension papers will have to be submitted by the petitioner and the respondent no.3.
We, therefore, direct that the Pay Verification Unit
shall decide the question within two weeks from today and thereafter if the papers are found to be in order, the respondent No.3-college shall forward the pension papers of the petitioner to the respondent No.2.
Put up this matter on 5.3,.2019.
Steno coy of this order is allowed."
The learned Assistant Government Pleader made a statement that the claims have already been finalized and with effect from 1st July 2019, the petitioner shall get the entire amount to which he is held entitled to in accordance with the Government Resolution/s. The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
