The applicant is seeking regular bail in connection with Crime No.508/2022 registered with Police Station: Karanja Rural, District: Washim, for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 328 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 59 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

In this case, the applicant is in jail from 27/11/2022. The contraband has already been seized by the Police Authorities. Furthermore, there are no criminal antecedents to the discredit of the applicant. In the circumstances, as there is no possibility of being absconded and not available for trial, I am of the opinion that the applicant is entitled for grant of regular bail. Accordingly, I pass the following order:

b) It is directed that in connection with Crime No.508/2022 registered with Police Station: Karanja Rural, District: Washim, for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273, 328 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 59 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, the applicant shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

c) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on 1st and 16th day of each month between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, till the culmination of the trial.

d) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.

e) The State is at liberty to move application for cancellation of bail, in case of breach of any of the conditions or the applicant repeats the similar offence The criminal application is disposed of accordingly.
