The State intends to challenge the judgment and order dated 24.04.2025 passed by Sessions Court, Chandrapur in Sessions Case No. 90/2021. The State of Maharashtra is accordingly seeking leave to file appeal in terms of Section 419 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The victim has also challenged the said judgment being Criminal Appeal No.425/2025. The appeal has been admitted by this Court.

In view thereof, there is no reason to not grant leave to the State to file appeal. Leave is accordingly granted. The appeal be registered and processed as per the rules. 5.

The application is disposed of.
