We direct Mr. Saurabh Chaudhary, Panel counsel appearing for Union of India to accept notice for the respondent Nos.1 & 2.

Since the order passed is innocuous in the wake of the averments made in the petition, notice to the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 is dispensed with. 4.
We deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition by directing the respondent No.2 Prity
2 / 2 927.wp97.2025.1 to decide the applications which are pending as reflected in prayer clause (i) of the petition expeditiously, and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner. We permit the petitioner to appear before the DRT on 28.01.2025.

We accept the statement made by Mr. Dhawas, Advocate appearing for the petitioner that the appropriate number of copies of the petition shall be made available to Mr. Chaudhary during the course of the day and the acknowledgment shall be placed on record.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of.
