The petitioner restricts its claim to prayer clause (a), i.e., it seeks direction to the respondent No. 1, Principal Secretary, Department of Higher and Technical Education, State of Maharashtra, Mumbai, to decide the proposal, dated 05/10/2023, submitted by it at the earliest. 2.

The Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent No. 1 submitted that necessary directions be issued to respondent No. 1 in this regard.

Having considered the relief claimed by the petitioner and the fact that the proposal has been pending before respondent No. 1 since 05/10/2023, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition by directing respondent No. 1 to decide the proposal at the earliest. Hence, we pass the following order.

O R D E R

(i) The petitioner is directed to appear before Respondent No. 1 on 15/04/2025, and Respondent No. 1 is directed to decide the proposal, dated 05/10/2023, submitted by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of the petitioner's appearance.

(ii) The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
