CORAM :- A.S.CHANDURKAR AND ANIL L. PANSARE, JJ., DATE :- DECEMBER 09, 2022 The petitioner who is serving as Assistant Engineer-Grade-II with Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli was served with an order of suspension dated 12.08.2022 challenged the aforesaid order by filing present writ petition.

Since the respondent-Chief Executive officer, Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli, had not appeared despite grant of sufficient time, a bailable warrant came to be issued to secure the presence of the Chief Executive Officer by the order dated 05.12.2022. Today, the Chief Executive Officer has moved Civil Application (W) No.2759 of 2022 seeking cancellation of the aforesaid bailable warrant. Alongwith the application a pursis has been filed in which it has been stated that the order of suspension dated 12.08.2022 now stands revoked.

In the light of the aforesaid pursis, the cause for filing the present writ petition stands served. The writ petition is disposed of as such. No costs.

With the appearance of the learned counsel for the respondent, the bailable warrant as issued stands cancelled. The civil application stands disposed of.
