Applicants/original claimants have filed this application to condone the delay of 160 days in filing the appeal. Learned counsel for respondent No. 1, though learned counsel for respondent No.1 orally objected to condoning the delay, has not filed a reply to the application. Similarly, although respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are served, none appears on their behalf.

Considering the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed. The delay of 160 days in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to the deposit of a cost of Rs. 2,000 with the High Court Legal Services Authority within two weeks. Subject to payment of costs, the appeal be registered. The application is disposed of. FIRST APPEAL ST NO. 20553 OF 2022 List the matter after four weeks.
