The petitioner by this petition is seeking his transfer from Central Prison Nagpur to Bhandara Prison. In the reply filed on behalf of the respondents, it is stated that the petitioner has not approached the competent authority but has kept his representation in the complaint box. It is stated that the said representation is being placed before the competent authority and is pending consideration before the competent authority.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the criminal writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner as early as possible and in any case within a period of four weeks from today.

Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
