Mr. Naik, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits, that in terms of the policy, the petitioner be permitted to apply, as the Committee has liberty to reject the allotment of the work to any person, who does not satisfy the criteria for shortest distance from the Paddy Procurement Center, keeping in mind the principle of least costs. The last date for submitting such application is till 2.00 p.m. on 25/10/2024, considering the same, the petitioner is permitted to submit an application to the Committee in terms of the advertisement, who shall consider it strictly in terms of the Government Resolution (G.R.) dated 24/11/2023.
